Firma performansının ölçülmesi, firmanın hedeflerinin ne kadarını gerçekleştirdiğini ortaya koymaktadır. Bu bakımdan küreselleşme ile birlikte yaşanan teknolojik gelişmeler ve rekabet ortamında firmaların performanslarının sürekli bir şekilde ölçülmesinin ve firmanın başarısı ile ilgili temel faktörlerin belirlenmesine duyulan ihtiyacın önemi her geçen gün artmaktadır. Firmaların performansını yeterince değerlendirmek ve sıralamak için birden fazla finansal oranın eşzamanlı olarak değerlendirilmesi gerekmektedir. Çalışma, teknoloji firmaları için önemli olan finansal oranları dikkate alarak, bu oranların performans üzerindeki etkilerini ortaya koymaktadır. Bu kapsamda, Borsa İstanbul’da (BIST) işlem gören 26 teknoloji firmasının 2018-2022 dönemlerindeki belirlenen finansal oranlarının kriter ahırlıklarına göre performans sıralamasını tespit etmek için çok kriterli karar verme yöntemleri olarak AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) ve TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution) yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın temel amacını, kullanılan çok kriterli karar verme yöntemleri ile dönemler itibariyle en iyi teknoloji firmasını seçmek oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma kapsamında ilk olarak teknoloji firmaları için önemli olan finansal oranlar belirlenmiş. Daha sonra belirlenen bu oranlar için AHP yöntemi kullanılarak kriter ahırlıkları tespit edilmiştir. Son olarak TOPSIS yöntemi kullanılarak, firmaların performans puanları elde edilmiş ve ilgili dönemlerde teknoloji sektöründe başarıya ulaşmış firmaların performans sıralamaları yapılmıştır. Sonuç olarak teknoloji firmalarının performans sıralamaları incelenen dönemde değişiklik göstermiş ve elde edilen sonuçlar arasında karşılaştırmalar yapılmıştır.
