Sivas Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi 2011-2012 İLİTAM Programı’na dâhil olduğunu ve eğitim-öğretim yılında eğitime başladığını Arapça I kitabında ifade etmiş ve derslerin pdf, ders slaytı, vb. materyallerle yürütüldüğünü belirtmiştik. İLİTAM Programı’nda verilen dersler için eklenen diğer bir materyal de Sivas Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi Yayınları arasında yayımlanan (Sivas-2018) Arapça II kitabı olmuştur.
Arapça II kitabı, XIV üniteden meydana gelmiştir. Üniteler İlahiyat Ön Lisans Programı dikkate alınarak oluşturulmuştur. Söz konusu program incelenmiş ve önemli bir kısım nahiv konularının yeterli derecede ele alınmadığı ve modern-klasik metin eksiklikleri fark edilmiştir. Bu kitaptaki 14 ünite, öğrencilerin ilgili konulardaki eksikliklerini gidermek amacıyla 2018’de hazırlanmış ve basılmıştır. Bu üniteler, Nahiv İlmi ve Temel Kavramları, Âmiller ve Mâmûller, Bedel, Şibih Fiiller, Temyîz, İstisna Üslubu, Şart Üslubu, Modern Metinler – Mektup Çeşitleri 1, Modern Metinler – Mektup Çeşitleri, Modern Metinler – Tasvir Çeşitleri, Modern Metinler – Makale ve Deneme, Modern Metinler – Deneme, Modern Metinler – Kısa Öykü 1, Modern Metinler – Kısa Öykü 2.
Arapça II kitabının baskısı tükenince hatalar ve eksiklikler göz önünde bulundurularak ünite sayıları, adları ve yazarları değişmeksizin kitap tekrar gözden geçirilmiş ve yayına hazır hale getirilmiştir.
