Bilgi toplumuna doğru bir dönüşümün yaşandığı günümüz dünyasında bilginin üretilmesi, bilginin yayılarak çoğalması ve bilginin kullanılması önemli bir konu haline gelmektedir. Bu çerçevede EFİ-2024 Kongresi’nin amacı ekonomi, finans ve işletme alanlarında güncel gelişmeleri tartışmak, gelecekteki akademik iş birliklerini sağlamak ve bir araştırma ağı oluşturmak için akademisyenleri ve lisansüstü öğrencilerini bir araya getirmektir. Hedefimiz EFİ Kongrelerini her yıl Mayıs ayında Sivas Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi ev sahipliğinde gerçekleştirmektir.Sivas Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi’nin 50. Kuruluş yılı ve İktisadi İdari Bilimler Fakültemizin 30. Kuruluş yıl dönümünde gerçekleştirilen EFİ-2024 Kongresine Türkiye’nin farklı üniversitelerinden ve yurtdışındaki üniversitelerden toplam 120 bildirinin sunumu gerçekleştirilmiştir. EFİ-2024 Kongresi’ne bildiri hazırlayarak katılım sağlayan tüm hocalarımıza ayrı ayrı şükranlarımı sunuyorum.Kongremiz süresince bizlere her türlü desteği sağlayan başta Sayın Rektörümüz Prof. Dr. Alim YILDIZ olmak üzere, Rektör yardımcımız Sayın Prof. Dr. Ünal Kılıç’a, Genel Sekreterimiz Sayın Doç.
