Turizm, Kültür ve Ekonomi Kongresi'nin kongre konuları hakkında yeni fikirlerin üretilmesi ve bu fikirlerin tartışılarak geliştirilmesi ve sonucunda ilgili alanlarda gelişime öncülük etmesi amaçlanmıştır. Kongre kültür, ekonomi ve turizm alanlarını kapsayan ve uluslararası boyutu olan tek kongre olarak ön plana çıkmaktadır. Turizm, ekonomi ve kültür alanları birbirleriyle sıkı ilişkiler içerisinde olan alanlardır. Bu kongre sayesinde ülkelerin ekonomileri için önemli bir yere sahip olan turizmin ekonomi ve kültür ile ilişkisi üzerine çalışmalar yapılarak bu alanda gelişime öncülük edecek fikirlerin üretilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu nedenle kongrenin Turizm, Ekonomi ve Kültür Kongresi (TEK) olarak isimlendirilmiştir.
Kongrede turizm, ekonomi ve kültür alanlarına ilişkin çalışmalar kabul edilmiştir. Bunun yanı sıra söz konusu alanların kendi aralarındaki ilişkileri ele alan konularda kongre kapsamındadır. Kongre sürecinde turizm, ekonomi ve kültür alanlarından akademisyenleri ve araştırmacıları bir araya getirerek bir platform oluşturulmuştur. Bu sayede paydaşların turizm, ekonomi ve kültür alanında fikir alışverişi, bilimsel tartışma ve yeni bakış açılarını tanıma imkânı bulmaları sağlanmıştır. Ayrıca kongre alanları ile ilgili bireylerin katılımına açık olan kongre sayesinde ilgili kişilerin akademik çevre ile tanışmaları ve kendilerini geliştirme imkânı bulmalarına ortam sağlanmıştır. Kongre sonrasında yayınlanacak kongre sonuç bildirgesi, kongre özet ve tam metin kitapları ile turizm, ekonomi ve kültür alanlarının birbirleri ile ilişkileri üzerinde durularak, bu alanlar arasında yapılabilecek işbirliği alanları belirlenmiştir.
Kongre kapsamında yayınlanan tam bildiri kitabında Turizm, Kültür ve Ekonomi alanında çeşitli konulara ilişkin bilgiler sunulmuştur. Ayrıca kongre süreci sonrasında ele alınan tam metin bildiriler de kitap olarak yayınlanmıştır. Böylelikle kongre konularına ilişkin daha detaylı bilgiler paydaşların istifadesine sunulmuştur.
