Bu çalışma, iyilik kavramını insanın varoluşsal yönelimi, ahlâkî tercihi ve toplumsal sorumluluğu bağlamında ele alarak, iyiliğin anlamını dinî metinler, düşünce gelenekleri ve çağdaş sorunlar ışığında çok boyutlu bir şekilde incelemektedir. İyilik, yalnızca bireysel bir erdem değil; insan, toplum ve medeniyet inşasında belirleyici bir ilke olarak ele alınmaktadır. Kur’ân, hadis ve kelâm perspektiflerinde iyilik; ilahî irade, insanın özgür iradesi ve ahlâkî sorumluluk çerçevesinde temellendirilmekte; Hz. Peygamber’in söz ve uygulamalarında iyiliğin yaşanabilir bir değer olarak nasıl somutlaştığı ortaya konulmaktadır. İslâm düşüncesinde iyilik, ontolojik bir temele sahip olup insanın fıtratına uygun bir yönelim olarak değerlendirilirken; deizm ve sekülerizm karşısında iyiliğin anlamı, modern düşünce akımlarıyla mukayeseli biçimde ele alınmaktadır. İyilik ile kötülük arasındaki mücadele, insanın iç dünyasında süregelen bir erdem savaşı olarak ele alınmakta; nefs psikolojisi bağlamında iyiliğin, arınma ve olgunlaşma sürecinin temel unsuru olduğu vurgulanmaktadır. “Kötülükle savaşmak mı, iyiliği çoğaltmak mı?” sorusu etrafında iyiliğin dönüştürücü gücü tartışılmakta; iyiliğin yaygınlaştırılmasının bireysel ve toplumsal düzeyde daha kalıcı sonuçlar doğurduğu ifade edilmektedir. Estetik ve kültürel boyutta iyilik, müzik üzerinden duygusal ve manevi bir temas alanı olarak ele alınmakta; iyiliğin yalnızca düşünsel değil, hissî ve sanatsal yollarla da aktarıldığı gösterilmektedir. Canlılar ve insan ilişkisi bağlamında iyilik, insan-merkezli anlayışın ötesine geçerek, varlıkla kurulan sorumlu ve merhamet temelli ilişki biçimi olarak ele alınmaktadır. Kadim Türk devlet geleneğinde ve Selçuklu Türkiye’sinde iyilik, adalet, himaye ve sosyal dayanışma ilkeleriyle somutlaşan bir devlet ahlâkı olarak değerlendirilmektedir. Ekonomi politiği çerçevesinde iyilik, pozitif ve negatif boyutlarıyla ele alınmakta; ekonomik ilişkilerde etik sınırların ve toplumsal faydanın önemi vurgulanmaktadır. Sağlık alanında ise iyilik, iyi insan olma ile iyi hekimlik arasında kurulan ilişki üzerinden değerlendirilmekte; aile, modern çağın iyilik anlayışına yönelik meydan okumalar karşısında temel bir koruyucu ve değer aktarıcı yapı olarak ele alınmaktadır. Sonuç olarak bu çalışma, iyiliği dinî referanslardan estetik deneyime, bireysel ahlâktan kamusal politikalara uzanan geniş bir çerçevede ele almakta; iyiliğin insanın anlam arayışında, toplumsal düzenin tesisinde ve medeniyet inşasında vazgeçilmez bir değer olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır.
